Tiger

Tigers were once widespread in Asia, but there are now only six subspecies, the Bengal Tiger, South China Tiger, Northern Indochinese Tiger, Sumatran Tiger, Malayan Tiger, Amur Tiger, with fewer than 4,000 individuals remaining in the wild. Trade demands and habitat destruction are the main threats to their survival.
